Job Overview

The Procurement Manager leads the teams responsible for the replenishment of the hubs and the branches, but also the demand planning and the inventory management. Responsible for decisions regarding the stocking strategy, replenishment path, target service level. He is in charge of the definition of the stock level and the order agenda. 

Job Requirements

  • Manages a team of employees, he requires strong ability to convince and motivate

  • Proven ability to establish his/her presence, work with limited resources, handle the unexpected, react to setbacks, engage in getting things done.

  • Ability to build rapport, understanding and trust with all key stakeholders (at all levels peers, executives, transverse) through ongoing dialogue and delivering results.

  • A proven ability to communicate with stakeholders across the organization.

  • Skilled at working with teams of people with disparate opinions and agendas to develop common outcomes, strategies and plans. Builds sense of team goals, focusing the team toward those ends.

  • Very organized and methodical.

  • Tenacity & firmness in particular in discussion with suppliers, with demanding attitude to get the SLA respected

  • Create and Monitoring KPI’s 

Skills

  • Strong Expertise in procurement and in E3TRIM system 

  • Purchasing conditions optimization

  • Negotiation techniques

  • Inventory & forecasts calculation theories

  • Product segmentation fundamentals

  • Inventory & forecasts calculation theories

  • Excellent knowledge of AS400 and Excel 

  • Languages: fluent English is required.

  • BS or MS in business administration, supply chain management (SCM) or related technical discipline. 

  • Experience (5 to 8 years) provided that his full experience is procurement in Fast Moving Consumer Goods and GDO Companies.
